"I typically don't read thrillers or books about the supernatural, but I wanted to try something different to get into the Halloween spirit. I came across this one as a recommendation from a friend, and am glad I did! Do take the advice from some of the other reviews and read the freebie at the end first, as it's a prequel. Overall this book is full of plot twists, interesting characters that are really well developed, and a really cool concept for a story. I don't want to give away too much but definitely recommend this book! I may need to start reading more books in the genre since I enjoyed this so much, for sure more from this series if there is another on the way."
